Kagekatsu Uesugi, the master and servant of kenzoku completed "Mido" dedicated to corpse of Kenshin in (1612), southeast corner of the Yonezawa Shiromoto-maru in 1612 while they pushed forward construction under Yonezawa Castle. In addition, temple which performed service in Mido was built in the outworks of a castle across moat. All of them counted 21 ka temples at temple of the Shingon Buddhism in the middle of Edo era. It was from Ryousenji (the main enclosure, House of jiseiin → lucky sign → Ryousenji and the changing of a name) that had jurisdiction over 11 ka temples called Buddhist clergyman a large number of people of Hoonji, Onori temple which was family temple of person of Uesugi, minor priest 9 ka temple, Mido. Most of these temples moved from Echigo, and Yonezawa Castle was castle which was rare in the whole country called temple in cemetery, the outworks of a castle in main enclosure. For Kagekatsu who lost for the Battle of Sekigahara, it is thought that mental prop of vassal corps reproduction was Kenshin Uesugi.

Many ancient documents convey that Mido was treated for person of Yonezawa feudal clan, Uesugi in particular as the holiest place. In Mido that burnt goma, fire was worried about above all. Plural letters which 2 daihanshujosugiteisho wrote down about looking out for fire and votive offering to Hoonji and the House of lucky sign are confirmed. Manual in case of fire was set, too and was absolutely sure to protect Mido from fire. When we leave by daimyo's alternate-year residence in Tokyo in the Edo era, each generation feudal lord reports to Kenshin of Mido without rubbing when we did kaesakan (castle) again. We stay in Mido, and, in the case of drought and the long rain, 9s feudal lord Yozan Uesugi prays for prayer and fast, too.

Still they do not avoid fire, and historical materials group of Mido connection to display this time is concerned with Mido and the rebuilding destroyed by fire on (1849) December 20 in 1849.

Uesugi Shrine which changed (1871), Mido in 1871, and assumed Yozan enshrined deity with Kenshin Uesugi was founded (we separately enshrine Yozan in Matsugasaki Shrine later). And (1876), corpse of Kenshin were moved to burial ground in 1876.

In addition, "upper Sugimoto inside of the capital outskirts of Kyoto figure screen" of Eitoku Kanou writing brush which Nobunaga Oda gave Kenshin becomes display on Tuesday (the second work = reproduction B) on original, Monday, May 21, 22nd for from Thursday, April 26 to Sunday, May 20.
